The RSPB is the UK charity working to secure a healthy environment for birds and other wildlife, helping to create a
better world for us all. They work for the conservation of wild birds, other wildlife and the places in which they live in a wide variety of ways. They have a large number of
reserves all over the UK. There are now over a million members of this organisation.

Natural England was formed by bringing together English Nature, the landscape, access and recreation elements of the Countryside Agency and the environmental land management functions of the Rural Development Service. It covers both biodiversity and geology, it oversees the protection and management of Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and National Nature Reserves (NNR).

Slimbridge in Gloucestershire.
BCT works on a number of levels to create a better world for bats. They run a range of different projects and initiatives.The organisation has 5,000 members and has a National Bat Monitoring Program (NBMP).
They are committed to the conservation of butterflies and moths. They have more than 12,000 members and 31 volunteer Branches throughout the British Isles.They also have many nature reserves around the country.
The British Dragonfly Society was formed in 1983 to promote and
encourage the study and conservation of dragonflies and their natural
habitats especially in the United Kingdom.
The Mammal Society works to protect British mammals, halt the decline
of threatened species, and advise on all issues affecting British Mammals.
They study mammals, identify the problems they face and promote conservation
and other policies based on sound science.
